Nigerian-born kid comedian, Emmanuella of Mark Angel Comedy, has won the 2021 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, under the category of Favorite African Social Media Star. This is coming after she was nominated alongside Davido for the 2018 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards under the category of Favorite African Stars.
Other stars who were nominated under the same category of Favorite African Social Media Star were Ikorodu Bois (Nigeria), Bonang Matheba (South Africa), Elsa Majimbo (Kenya), and Wian Van Den Berg (South Africa).
The 2021 Kids’ Choice Awards was held on March 13, 2021, at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. It is the 34th, held annually by Nickelodeon. Notable appearance in the ceremony was the Vice President of the United States of America- Kamala Harris, Tyler Perry, Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, and others.
